Some additions to the camper…
So before we trekked off for camping trip number 4 for the season, Sara and I made some ‘additions’ to the camper.. Sara started with a little storage bag compartment to hang on the outside of the bathroom in the trailer and some cozies (sp?) for the Mountain Pie irons and hot dog cookers. That way whenever you put them back in the camper, you (or should I say ‘I’) don’t have to clean all of the soot off of the storage compartment walls.
I liked that Sara added the snaps on the bottom pouch so you could have two smaller pouches or one large pouch. The entire unit hangs off of two ‘over the door’ hooks. I’ll try to add an ‘in action’ picture soon….
Ahh! The completed Cozies.. BTW, Sara even sewed in some elastic at the top of each little bag so they wouldn’t slide off.. NICE!
And just to top things off, I made a ‘shoddy’ shelf that colapses during travel so we could have more storage space on the counters in the camper…
Okay, so I realized that I don’t have a completed picture of this either, but it’s done and works AWESOME! I’ll try to get an ‘in action’ picture of this as well. The whole idea behind this was to have something to gain the maximum amount of storage space on the small amount of counters in the camper and yet still pack it down so it didn’t take up a lot of room during travel. The shelf unit itself is still a little wobbly, but it works pretty nice….
The three additions worked AWESOME over the memorial day camping trip and I will hopefully show some more pictures throughout the rest of the camping season on the ‘improvements’ in the background!

Seriously?! Is there anything that the two of you can’t/don’t do? With all the projects you wind up doing, when do you find time to sleep?
PS – I have a dress that needs taken in and several pairs of pants that need hemming… they’ve been on my dryer for 6 months. God, I’m such a loser! : )
