Campalooza ‘09 is soon approaching..

Campalooza ‘09 is rapidly approaching and the Charles’ household is fast and furious in our planning.  Like Santa and the elves preparing for Christmas we have our lists and are checking them twice (and thrice and four times and.. well you get the picture) 

14 days of living off the grid!  WOO HOO!!  The way the weather has been recently, we are preparing for anything..  Snow, freezing weather, or just 14 days of pure rain..  (Let’s hope not!)  Sara has pushed her ADHD and OCD into full gear with lists of lists of lists..  Spreadsheets of what to buy, what to make, who’s doin what, which day, what night..  For those of you that we have sent our camping list to in the past, let’s just say that these lists are our normal lists (which are extreme already) to THE MAX!

 I cannot wait for the massive time of being away from computers, Internet, cell phones, txt messaging, twittering, Facebooking…  That doesn’t mean I won’t update from time to time, as we can travel to the ‘higher elevations’ of the farm to get some semblance of cell phone service. 

So you may ask, “what the HELL are you going to do for 14 days with the girls?”  Well, nothing is planned at this point.  They’ll be able to keep themselves busy, trust me, for that extended amount of time..
