Campalooza ’09 oh yeah!

Wow!!

14 days in the wild woods of western PA and I feel re-engerzied!  We had an amazing time and had 47 people wonder through the woods off and on to celebrate our ‘mid year break’ from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 

At the beginning I felt like life was really pushing us to our limits of what we would go through to actually get a little R n R.  Day 1 we had a little troubles with our car less than two hours into the trip which delayed our arrival to the campsite.  Instead of arriving in 4 1/2 hours it took us 34 hours and 20 minutes..  For a minute, I felt like I was a passenger on an airplane, but then I realized that at least we were ‘free to roam the country’ during our runway drama… 

In short, we had an issue with a radiator hose but after the drama, we were on our way to now 13 days of freedom in the woods…

There are so many stories that I want to share with everyone but in this post, I’ll quickly go over all of our friends that made our trip even more special…  (Pictures will be coming in later posts)

-”Get out of the blue tub”

-”I lost my dog..  [what kind of dog is it?] Ummm, I dont’ know but it’s black and one ear is up and one ear is down and it’s name is Onyx”

-Two words — Turgid Manhood

-”I’ve got that up in my camper!”

-”Tally Up”

-”Power hour”

-Projects and Jenna hanging out with the big kids…

-Mom, hold me, hold me, hold me, HOOOOOLLLLDDD  MMMEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

-”We really need to get a yule log, drive up in the woods and get a yule log, wow… we really need to get a yule log for the fire”

-”DOUBLE WHAMMY!!”

-”We brought back dam books” (After the kids came back from the Mahoning dam)
