The Parking Area Project
Ok,
So if you’ve been to my house, you know that we live on the side of a cliff.. While it’s not as bad as Lombard Street out in San Fran, it can be a little tricky to park 20 cars in the yard during a party. Let’s just say that I’m thrilled whenever I valet a vehicle with 4 wheel drive…
With this said, it was time to tackle a parking area on the left side of the homestead. The project had to be broke into a multi-phased approach. First phase, move the fence back to the crest of the hill; 2nd dig some troughs to install some drainage from the backyard and the foundations for the retaining wall, and finally, fill fill fill and more fill… Here are some pictures after phase 1.
