I should learn to keep my big mouth shut and trust the system of life. Like something out Pleasantville, I was notified today that my CO2 tanks for my Soda Stream would be on my doorstep when I arrived home for our massive Memorial Day camping trip.. WOO HOO!! Gotta love that Just-In-Time processing.. Now if only all of life could be this organized!!!
Dammit! No seriously.. I’m outta of CO2 in my first tank! I placed my first order for replacement carbonators but now I have to wait until they ship.. Uuugh! No seltzer water over Memorial Day camping trip.. double DAMMIT!!

A fun new toy.. Making Soda in your own home.. and.. Well.. It is does taste great!
I saw an ad in our newspaper for SodaStream and I was intrigued. Hmmm. Make your own soda at home… (I was more excited about making my own seltzer water @ home, considering I drink close to 20 liters of this a week…) So, a 20 dollar MIR… Not too bad.. Let see what we’ve got..
So on their website, I noticed that they sell the SodaStream through Kohl’s stores (BTW… Here’s the website link http://www.sodastreamusa.com)
Cool.. Even better than having to order online and wait for the shipment… (I’m really bad at this.. I really want INSTANT gratification.. I think that’s cause if I don’t get it now, I won’t buy it, because I’ll have realized at that point that I really don’t need it)
So, with the psycho Kohl’s sales – $99 dollar unit on sale for $85 - 15% off – $20 MIR = ~56 dollars for a fun toy.. K.. I’m just stupid enough to buy and try…
So far… It’s been really awesome! I can see this saving me from buying tons of “bottled seltzer water” from Costco, etc…
Oh, and the flavored soda is not too bad either..

With a house of two wonderful girls and a creative wife, it can get a little hectic around the old homestead. But this doesn’t deter me from coming up with creative ideas, crazy projects, and even crazier plans. It’s amazing how much you can get done between naptime and before the 2 AM bedtime curfew.
